(HK Edgerton) -It is so sad to learn that a woman would come to America to escape Marxism and Communism only to surmise that America is in the middle of a Revolution synonymous to what she just left behind; so would say Chinese Cultural Revolution Survivor and Author XI Van Fleet at a virtual event hosted by Defend Arlington with participants including Dr. Ann McLean, and myself, HK Edgerton.She would speak about the Mao’s Red Guard and the forced re-education of the young aimed to destroy the foundation of the traditional culture and to replace it with Marxist ideologies. Old customs and old ideas had to be destroyed.
Communism, she defined as an ideology, meant to abolish private thought. The so- called Cultural Revolution in America she proclaimed had parallel to the Cultural Revolution she had faced in China; wokeness, political correctness, masses not individuals, destruction of the past (monuments and art).
She spoke about tenured Professors in our schools that have produced generations of Marxist Professors who have poisoned the minds of our children.
